About Me

I am a General Contractor and Real Estate Agent serving the San Francisco peninsula from Burlingame to Los Altos and beyond. I own a company called Webfoot Construction, and I am affiliated with Coldwell Banker in Downtown Palo Alto on the real estate end. I have lived and owned property in and around San Mateo for the last 20 years. In that time I've developed a strong familiarity with the mid-peninsula that allows me to help you choose the location that best meets all your individual requirements.

I have a great curiosity for houses, neighborhoods, schools and downtowns, and I'm an avid cyclist (road and trail), ultra-runner and hiker. Through these activities, I have gained a very strong knowledge of the features beyond your property lines the mid-peninsula and bay area in general have to offer. I use this knowledge to help clients pick suitable places to start (and finish) their search.

My business focus is on total client satisfaction, and to that end, I support my clients for the entire course of their home sale and/or purchase, providing guidance throughout the process. See Buying Property and Selling Property for more details.

In a nutshell

• Born in Palo Alto, 1961.
• Raised in Riverside, CA and Palos Verdes, CA.
• Under-graduate at UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara. BS in Computer Science in 1985.
• Worked at Hewlett Packard in Cupertino for 3 years. Lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains in an under construction house, where I traded rent for helping the contractor/owner of the home in my "spare" time.
• Masters at Columbia University in New York City. MS in Computer Science, 1989. Started Consulting in New York.
• Relocated back to the Bay Area in 1990. Worked for a startup software company in San Francisco for 8 years, then started and ran Webfoot Consulting for the next 8 years. Worked for many companies around the Bay Area and beyond. Lived in Belmont, then San Mateo.
• Real Estate Agent's License in 2003.
• Started with Coldwell Banker in 2004, another "spare time" hobby.
• General Contractors License in 2006. Closed Webfoot Consulting, started Webfoot Construction. Building and selling homes no longer a hobby.
• Completed Crescent Park rebuild in 2011. 8th major home remodel. 3 employees who wish I would keep them even more busy.
